Tarvin is a project from British artist Oliver Herbert.
The name Tarvin comes from a small village in the North of England where Oliver comes from. It's British eccentric residents are permanently in the psyche of Oliver. Great thinkers such as bell hooks and Judith Butler jostle for attention with suburban flower beds of pansies. Bell ringers and brutalist architecture sit next to one another as inspiration. Tarvin is about the incongruity of being British.
